Below is a step-by-step guide on how to register, purchase a course, complete it, and earn CPD points.

Registration

Step 1: Visit the Website

 

Step 2: Access the AI Agent
  • On the bottom left corner of the screen, click on the AI Agent chat bubble (a small chat icon).

 

Step 3: Request to Sign Up
  • You can either:
    • Type a message like: “I want to sign up as a user.”
    • Use voice prompt (if available) by clicking the microphone icon and speaking the same request.

 

Step 4: Provide Your Details
  • The AI agent will ask for your registration details (e.g., name, email, phone number, medical board registration number, etc.).
  • Fill in the required information accurately.

 

Step 5: Wait for Account Activation
  • The AI agent will forward your details to the Med Skill Hub team.
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once your account is opened (within 24 hours).

 

Step 6: Log In to Your Account
  • Go back to https://medskillhub.com.
  • Username: Use your board registration number or email address.
  • Password: Your phone number in the format 254722123456 (replace with your digits, starting with 254 for Kenya).

 

Step 7 (Optional): Change Your Password
  • If you want to set a new password:
    1. Click “Forgot Password” on the login page.
    2. Follow the prompts (usually involves receiving a reset link via email).
    3. Set a new password of your choice.

Once done, you can now access your Med Skill Hub dashboard!

Purchasing a Course

Step 1: Browse Courses

  • Explore courses by:
    • Level (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert)
    • Format (Videos, PowerPoint, Case Studies, Webinars, Publications)
    • CPD Points (See distribution below).
    • Categories (Microbiology, Hematology Chemistry, Molecular)

Step 2: Select a Course

  • Course types include:
    • Animated Video Courses (30-min to modular formats)
    • PowerPoint Presentations (with voice narration, quizzes)
    • Flash Card Courses (5 bullets per card, mobile-friendly)
    • Publication-Based Courses (4,500-word modules from high-impact journals)
    • Case Study Courses (6 cases per course)
    • Live/Recorded Webinars (30-min segments with Q&A)

Step 3: Enroll & Pay

  • Click “Enroll Now” or “Add to Cart.”
  • Check out via secure payment (Credit Card, Mpesa).
  • Course unlocks instantly in your “My Courses” section.

Completing a Course & Earning CPD Points

Step 1: Start Learning

  • Courses are self-paced or live (webinars).
  • Formats include:
    • Videos (with quizzes)
    • Interactive PowerPoints (1hr 30min max)
    • Case Studies (diagnosis exercises)
    • Flash Cards (instant feedback)

Step 2: Complete Assessments

  • Pass quizzes (≥80% score) or case study exercises.
  • Submit end-of-course surveys (feedback required).

Step 3: Earn CPD Points

  • Points are awarded based on engagement time and complexity:
